2020 Mutt Strut!
On Saturday, September 26th, I will be participating in my 16th annual Mutt Strut, a pet walk to benefit the Indianapolis Humane Society. Due to Covid-19, the event has been moved to Victory Field. Walking at Victory Field with me will be my long time buddy, Stuart, and the new addition to the family, Maude. Chloe will also be with us in spirit.
Stuart, being a veteran at this event, is ready to show Maude how it's done. They both are ready to raise the necessary funds to help their homeless friends at the Humane Society. The Gang have been preparing for walk by rising early and walking in the morning and taking another walk after dinner. They will always go the extra mile for a treat too!
Please welcome Maude to her first event and also support us in our fundraising goal. Due to Covid-19, it has been very challenging for non-for-profits to fundraise and the animals needing homes have not gone away. Every donation will help find homes and provide medical aid for thousands of homeless animals that come through the doors of the Indianapolis Humane Society.
Thank you!!
Kelly
About the Humane Society of Indianapolis
Founded in 1905, the Humane Society of Indianapolis cares for dogs and cats on the path to finding a loving, lifetime home. All animals are spayed/neutered and microchipped before being placed on the adoption floor. HSI also offers obedience training, a behavior help line and an off-leash dog park as some of their services back to the community. Visit www.indyhumane.org for more information.
